Streamlining Neurology Product Information
through an Interactive Onboarding Tool
Project Summary:
To address the challenge of dispersed and inaccessible medical training materials, Enago Life Sciences created an interactive PDF onboarding tool that centralized essential information about a well-established neurology product. This tool transformed the training process for Medical and Scientific Liaisons, making it more efficient and engaging.
Challenge:
A scattered and inaccessible array of medical education materials complicated the training process for Field Medical Excellence (FME) teams on a well-established neurology product
Approach:
The Enago Life Sciences team and the client worked together to gather input from Medical Directors and the FME board.
The key training resources, publications and other materials available on the various FME portals, scientific, and commercial SharePoints across different geographies were identified.
A storyboard was developed and packaged as an interactive PDF. This novel tool transformed new-hire learning into self-paced, easy-to-access and navigate modules.
The onboarding tool featured a high-level disease and product overview with links to current product resources, key clinical data, and medical and clinical updates.
Impact :
The interactive PDF significantly enhanced the efficiency of the onboarding process. New hires were able to onboard faster and with greater comprehension of the necessary medical information, improving their readiness for field activities. The tool later became a cornerstone of the training regimen, with improved performance metrics for new Medical and Scientific Liaisons. Feedback from the field suggests a higher degree of confidence and effectiveness in their roles, directly attributable to the enhanced training tool.
